Prodigo Solutions is collaborating with the ECRI Institute to incorporate product recall and alert information into its contract compliance software, ProdigoMarketplace.
ProdigoMarketplace connects buyers and suppliers through a virtual supplier network. The platform will now feature product safety data from ECRI Institute to alert clinicians and supply chain leaders of any safety issues or recalls associated with a product prior to purchasing.
"By incorporating recall information into the requisition workflow, clinicians can make informed product selection decisions quickly and speed up the time it takes to identify a functionally equivalent alternative for care," said Michael DeLuca, Prodigo Solutions' executive vice president of technology and client services.
