Charlotte, N.C.-based Premier has announced plans to acquire Raleigh, N.C.-based Aperek for $48.5 million, according to a Triangle Business Journal report.
Aperek, formerly called Mediclick, is an IT supply chain solutions provider.
Susan DeVore, president and CEO of Premier, said in a news release the acquisition will "complement and enhance" Premier's current offerings.
