Medical device company NuVasive will acquire Biotronic NeuroNetwork for $98 million.
Biotronic, based in Ann Arbor, Mich., is a privately held company that provides intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring services to surgeons and healthcare facilities in the U.S.
San Diego-based NuVasive produces minimally invasive surgical products to optimize spine surgery. The company consists of 1,600 employees in more than 40 countries. Last year, NuVasive recorded $811 million in revenue.
The transaction is expected to close in early July.
