FDA approves Lupin's generic skin cream

The Food and Drug Administration on Monday approved Lupin's fluocinonide topical skin cream.

The topical solution is used to relieve skin conditions such as inflammation or itching.

Lupin's skin cream represents a generic version of County Line Pharmaceuticals' Fluocinonide topical solution. Last year, Fluocinonide generated $ 32.4 million in U.S. sales, according to March 2017 IMS Health data cited by Lupin.
