The Food and Drug Administration approved Nesher Pharmaceuticals' oseltamivir phosphate capsules, reports Business Standard.

1. The drug is an anti-viral used for the prevention and treatment of influenza virus infection.
2. The treatment represents a generic version of Genentech's Tamiflu.
2. Nesher, a subsidiary of Zydus Phramaceuticals USA, will produce the drug at a manufacturing facility in St. Louis.
