CVS Health to open distribution center in Kansas City

Woonsocket, R.I.-based CVS Health plans to build a 762,000-square-foot distribution center in Kansas City, Mo., reports The Hutchinson News.

The facility will serve more than 370 CVS stores across the Midwest and bring 260 jobs to the area, according to the report.

CVS plans to break ground on the distribution center in January and open the facility in 2018.

At present, CVS Health has 18 distribution centers nationwide.
