Seattle-based online retail giant Amazon will operate a new distribution center in Charlotte, N.C., reports WSOC.
The facility, which offers almost 400,000 square feet of space, is located near the Charlotte Douglas airport. Amazon plans to use the warehouse for its Amazon Prime Air services to fly packages across the country on converted Boeing 767s, according to the report.
While the company did not release a public announcement about the new distribution center, Amazon signs already hang on the building's exterior.
