The AllSpire GPO seeks to identify and develop clinical improvements and business initiatives to improve the overall performance of the health systems. The new entity will manage expenses by combining purchasing volumes, streamlining supplier negotiations and implementing efficiencies throughout the supply chain.
Health systems participating in the AllSpire Health GPO include:
- Atlantic Health System in Morristown, N.J.
- Hackensack University Health Network in Hackensack, N.J.
- Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pa.
- Meridian Health in Neptune, N.J.
- Reading Health System in Reading, Pa.
- WellSpan Health in York, Pa.
The AllSpire Health GPO signed an exclusive agreement with HealthTrust, a national GPO provider based in Brentwood, Tenn. Each participant in the new GPO is a member of HealthTrust and has full access to its extensive contract portfolio.
