The University of Louisville (Ky.) will rename Jewish Hospital and KentuckyOne Health's other Louisville assets after their sale to U of Louisville, according to the Courier Journal.
U of Louisville is set to officially purchase Jewish Hospital, Our Lady of Peace psychiatric hospital, and other facilities owned by Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health on Nov. 1. The name changes will reflect their new ownership and bring the acquired facilities under the U of L Health brand.
The name changes include:
Jewish Hospital to U of L Hospital — Jewish Campus
Our Lady of Peace to U of L Health — Peace Hospital
Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital to U of L Health — Mary & Elizabeth Hospital
KentuckyOne-branded physician practices will also join the U of L Physicians brand, according to the Courier Journal.
