Greenbrae, Calif.-based Marin General Hospital and its partners have formed a single healthcare entity called MarinHealth, the organizations said July 30.
Five things to know:
1. Under the rebranding, Marin General Hospital has been renamed MarinHealth Medical Center.
2. In addition, Prima Medical Foundation and Marin Healthcare District Centers have become the MarinHealth Medical Network.
3. The Marin General Hospital Foundation has also become MarinHealth Foundation.
4. MarinHealth said its new name "symbolizes what MarinHealth has to offer — a gateway to expert healthcare resources for our community," the organization said in a press release sent to Becker's.
5. MarinHealth providers will offer primary and specialty care, emergency care, advanced surgical treatments, pregnancy and childbirth care, geriatric care, health education, and holistic wellness programs, according to the organization.
