Columbus Regional joins Cleveland Clinic program

Columbus (Ind.) Regional Health has shared plans to join Cleveland Clinic's Connected program.

The program's goal is to develop a global network of "like-minded, quality-focused" organizations to improve patient care, according to a Jan. 8 news release.

Columbus Regional is the second U.S. member and the only Indiana system to take part in the program. Titusville, Fla.-based Parrish Medical Center became the first U.S. program member last March.

Globally, Vinmec Central Park International Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, joined the program last May and Vinmec Times City International Hospital joined in January 2023.

The program will help Columbus Regional support employees, improve patient care and enhance service lines, program and initiative work quality.

Providers at Columbus Regional will be able to access educational opportunities at Cleveland Clinic locations or through distance learning, along with other protocols and best practice training. Its physicians may also seek input from Cleveland Clinic subspecialists through the program.
