Regional Hospital of Jackson (Tenn.) is offering a new program to support patient-centered care and improve patient satisfaction, according to a Jackson Sun report.
The program, called "Catering to You," provides patients a restaurant-style dining experience, in-room movies and free Wi-Fi. The dining service includes a restaurant-style menu and catering associates who check in with patients during meals as a restaurant server would. The catering associates typically visit each patient nine to 12 times a day, according to the report.
The hospital believes the Catering to You services give patients some control in their care, improve their comfort and increase their satisfaction, according to the report.
