Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y., announced the opening of a new $6.5 million inpatient unit.
The nine-room unit, named the Arlene and Arnold Goldstein Family Foundation Athletics Neighborhood, brings the inpatient bed count to 127, allowing the hospital to care for 450 to 500 additional children each year.
