Camden, N.J.-based Lourdes Health System announced it has entered into a joint venture partnership with Centennial Surgery Center in Voorhees, N.J., and has entered into a partnership with DaVita to operate its outpatient dialysis services — two moves that support Lourdes' strategy of expanding its services.
Under the partnership with Centennial, the surgery center will become part of Lourdes' integrated health system. The joint venture aims to meet a growing demand for outpatient surgery among Lourdes' patients, according to the release. Lourdes is also planning an ambulatory care center in Cherry Hill, N.J.
In addition to its partnership with Centennial, Lourdes has partnered with DaVita, a dialysis provider, to own and operate its three affiliated outpatient dialysis sites and to manage its inpatient acute programs. As part of this arrangement, DaVita will become part of the Lourdes system. The health system expects the relationship will expand services and therapies and lower costs.
