Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath, N.Y., is planning a new $3.1 million emergency department, according to a YNN report.
The facility will include 2,800 more square feet than the current ED, providing space for the hospital to double the treatment areas from three to six and create a separate space for pediatric emergency care.
The hospital will break ground on the new ED in two weeks and expects to complete the project next spring.
