North American Partners in Anesthesia has announced the majority recapitalization of its affiliated practice management company — NAPA Management Services Corporation — has been named the "Healthcare and Life Sciences Deal of the Year" by the M&A Advisor and the Association for Corporate Growth New York.
In addition, the transaction, which brings new growth capacity to NMSC and is expected to enhance the organization's ability to pursue opportunities and maintain its leadership position in the expanding anesthesia management market, was also named the overall winner of the "Middle Market Deal of the Year" award, according to a NAPA news release and a release from ACG New York.
The ACG New York Champion's Awards winners are intended to represent the best of M&A in the New York area.
"Being named among the winners is a tremendous honor," said Timothy J. Dowd, MD, NAPA managing partner and board chair and NMSC CEO, according to the NAPA release. "These awards go on to further solidify the strength of our partnership, in addition to reinforcing the success of NMSC's continued growth within this competitive marketplace."
