Chickasaw Nation Health wins Baldrige Award

The Chickasaw Nation Department of Health has received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Chickasaw Nation Department of Health was recognized for its efforts to provide inpatient, outpatient and population health services across 13 counties in southern Oklahoma, according to an Oct. 10 news release. Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada received five stars in CMS' Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings for 2024, among other notable accomplishments.

This year's other Baldrige Award winners include Alamo Colleges District; the city of Henderson, Nev.; Freese and Nichols, an engineering and consulting firm; and Northeast Delta Dental.
