Young people are on the move — but the states they're choosing to call home aren't urban epicenters like one might expect.
U.S. News & World Report recently calculated the rate of change in populations aged 25-29 as part of its "Best states" rankings.
The U.S. has seen its growth rate drop 1.78 percentage points in this age group. These five states are the only ones to see positive growth in the demographic:
1. Utah
2. New Hampshire
3. Idaho
4. Connecticut
5. Nebraska
