10 top universities for studying infectious disease

Along with its well-known, researched university ranking lists, U.S. News takes its methodology a step further to dive deeper into which universities are best for specific subjects. Its subject-specific rankings, the outlet notes, are determined based on "publications and citations, as well as indicators for global and regional reputation in each specific subject."

The following schools were recently ranked by U.S. News as the top universities for studying infectious disease:
