Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health and CoventryCares of Kentucky have renewed their contract, which will keep all CoventryCares beneficiaries in-network with KentuckyOne providers.
Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
CoventryCares of Kentucky is the Medicaid managed care plan of Coventry Health Care. KentuckyOne, part of Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives, formed in 2012 as a result of a merger between Saint Joseph Health System in Lexington, Ky., and Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare in Louisville. University Hospital in Louisville also partnered with KentuckyOne, making it the largest health system in Kentucky.
