CMS has awarded CGI a $93.7-million contract to build the health insurance exchanges that will be federally facilitated, according to a CGI news release.
CGI will work with the CMS Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight to create the exchanges. The base contract is worth $55.7 million over two years, but if the three one-year options are used, the deal could reach $93.7 million, according to the release.
