Medicare fee-for-service providers have the opportunity to evaluate their Medicare Administrative Contractors using an online tool from CMS.
CMS launched the MAC Satisfaction Indicator to measure providers' and suppliers' level of satisfaction with their MACs – private organizations that carry out the administrative responsibilities of Medicare Parts A and B. The agency will use the results to increase efficiency, monitor trends and improve oversight.
Interested providers must register to use the MAC Satisfaction Indicator. Registration began July 8 and is only available for a limited time.
