Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems and Arkansas BlueCross BlueShield have reached a new agreement on reimbursement rates, according to an Arkansas Business report.
Two weeks ago, CHS said it would drop ABCBS once the contract ended at the end of the month since both sides couldn't agree to new rates, but both parties resumed talks last week.
The terms of the new agreement were not disclosed, although all ABCBS patients will still be in-network at CHS' eight Arkansas hospitals.
