After allowing its contract to expire in November, BayCare Health System in Clearwater, Fla., announced it has reached a five-year agreement with UnitedHealthcare.
The 10-hospital system severed ties over reimbursement delays in November, saying the health insurer still owed $11 million in unpaid claims.
The new agreement will cover UnitedHealthcare customers' services at BayCare facilities since Nov. 26 at in-network rates.
