Health insurer Aetna announced it has reached an agreement to add 13 Southern California hospitals from Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services back into its coverage network since the two parted ways in 2007.
Aetna members will now be able to receive care at in-network rates at the for-profit system's hospitals.
The insurer also completed its acquisition of Bethesda, Md.-based managed care company Coventry Health Care.
