Arizona has the highest percentage of nursing homes rated five out of five, according to the 2024 "Best Nursing Homes" ranking by U.S. News & World Report.
The 2024 ranking features ratings for more than 15,000 nursing homes. Facilities were evaluated on patient and resident outcomes, such as infection rates, staffing levels, reliance on antipsychotic drugs, health inspection results and other indicators of quality. Ratings were on a scale of one to five, with five being the highest score.
