Alaska has the highest hours per resident day for nursing homes while Missouri has the lowest, a report by the Long Term Care Community Coalition found.
The report used data from the fourth quarter of 2022 and highlighted nurse and non-nurse staff, contract workers, turnover rate and staffing rates and other data.
It found only 25.3 percent of nursing homes provided 4.1 HPRD, which is the minimum needed for clinical care, according to a July 13 release from the coalition.
