Ridgewood, N.J.-based Valley Health System has opened the system's first compounding pharmacy.
The pharmacy is located in Paramus, N.J., and prepares prescriptions tailored to patients' "specific medication needs," according to an Aug. 21 news release from Valley Health.
The compounding pharmacy joins the system's network of pharmacies, which include multiple hospital pharmacies, three retail pharmacies and one specialty pharmacy.
