AbbVie jumped from No. 5 to No. 3 and AstraZeneca eked past GSK with a bump in profits. Here's the top 10 list:

4. AbbVie: $56.2 billion
5. Novartis: $52.9 billion
6. Merck: $48.7 billion
7. Bristol-Myers Squibb: $46.4 billion
8. Sanofi: $39.2 billion
9. AstraZeneca: $37.4 billion
10. GSK: $34.1 billion
