Prescription savings company GoodRx launched an initiative April 27 in which patients can find, apply for and claim Sanofi discounts directly on GoodRx's platform.
On GoodRx's website, users can determine which Sanofi savings program best fits their insurance status and apply for discounts. GoodRx estimated the move could save Americans up to $260 million on first-fill costs in 2021.
"Insulin costs can easily overwhelm people living with diabetes. We are proud to partner with Sanofi to make insulins and other prescriptions more affordable for all Americans, regardless of their income status," Doug Hirsch, co-CEO and co-founder of GoodRx, said in a news release.
