Kroger, which is working to expand its healthcare services to its more than 2,000 pharmacies in the U.S., has secured a key certification, according to Supermarket News.
The grocer's health services arm has attained the CPPA Community Pharmacy Practice Accreditation through the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy for all of its pharmacies.
The accreditation recognizes pharmacies for providing safe, effective and affordable patient care services such as immunizations, medication therapy management and health and wellness screenings.
The accreditation comes as Kroger works to expand its health service offerings to more pharmacies across the country.
