In the latest talc trial, a New Jersey jury decided Johnson & Johnson was not liable for causing a man's mesothelioma, according to CNBC.
The man alleged the asbestos in J&J's talc-based products, including its baby powder, caused him to develop the cancer that has been linked to asbestos exposure.
J&J is facing about 13,000 talc-related lawsuits nationwide. The drugmaker denies that its talc causes cancer, arguing tests revealed its talc is safe and asbestos-free.
