Whittier Street Health Center in Roxbury, Mass., has revealed a new $37 million health and wellness center that more than triples the capacity of the previous building, according to a news release.
The 79,000-square-foot facility can receive 220,000 annual patient visits compared with 70,000 in the old hospital.
The center will offer primary care, dental and eye care, behavioral health and substance abuse services, a pharmacy, a physical therapy clinic and community space. The new center will also house the Dana-Farber Mammography Suite and provide medical oncology consultation through a partnership with Dana-Farber Community Cancer Care in Boston.
