Temecula Valley Hospital expands ED

Temecula (Calif.) Valley Hospital now has 21 emergency department beds, up from 13 beds before its expansion, according to a report from patch.com.

Since the ED opened in 2013, it has seen 26,000 patients, according to the report. The additional beds will help the hospital serve its community.

"The hospital is very excited to be able to expand the capacity in the Emergency Department and the Temecula Outpatient Pavilion to meet the needs of the surrounding region. It enhances the patient-centered, family sensitive care the hospital is already providing," said Darlene Wetton, CEO of the hospital.
