The Lung Cancer Research Foundation established a scientific executive committee July 11 to create a strategic roadmap to guide the foundation's research investment and identify areas of unmet need.
The committee is made up of members from the foundation's scientific advisory board.
"LCRF's research program will benefit greatly from these experts as we develop our strategic objectives in research investment with a focus on serving lung cancer patients' most pressing needs," said Katerina Politi, PhD, associate professor of pathology and internal medicine at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn., and chair of LCRF's scientific advisory board.
