Cleveland Clinic hospital opens breast cancer, women's health services center

Cleveland Clinic's Weston (Fla.) Hospital has opened the Lozick Women's Center — a 6,800-square-foot facility dedicated to providing treatment and preventive services for breast cancer.

Screening, diagnosis and treatment services will be offered at the new center, the hospital said in a July 19 news release sent to Becker's

Breast imaging services, 3D mammography, pelvic ultrasound, breast biopsy and bone density services are among the diagnostic care offered at the women's center, which also prioritizes a holistic treatment approach.

Support services and complementary medicine services including massage therapy, Reiki and yoga will be offered as part of the whole-person care approach. Genetic counseling and other risk assessment services are also available.

The center is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, breast radiologists and plastic surgeons, among other specialists.
