Six oncologists have joined new practices or received new appointments since Sept. 7.

- Richmond, Va.-based VCU Massey Cancer Center and VCU Health appointed Paula Fracasso, MD, PhD, as deputy director of the cancer center and senior vice president of the cancer service line at VCU Health.
- Atlanta-based Emory University School of Medicine and Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University named Reshma Jagsi, MD, as chair of the department of radiation oncology, effective Nov. 7.
- New Brunswick, N.J.-based Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and RWJBarnabas Health named Matthew Matasar, MD, MS, as chief of blood disorders.
- New York City-based NYU Longone Health appointed Oren Cahlon, MD, as senior vice president and deputy chief clinical officer.
- Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute recruited Yovanni Casablanca, MD, to its gynecologic oncology team.
- Flint, MI-based Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Flint welcomed Orimisan Samuel Adekolujo, MD, to its oncology team Sept. 8.
