Here are five oncologists starting new roles as of Dec. 7:
- Detroit-based Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute appointed Regina Doxtader as vice president and chief financial officer.
- Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital is appointed Ivan Borrello, MD, to the TGH Cancer Institute to lead the bone marrow transplant and cell therapies program.
- Vetta Higgs, MD, a medical oncologist, joined the Potsdam, N.Y-based Center for Cancer Care at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
- Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health tapped Ruben Mesa, MD, for director of the Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center in Winston-Salem and the Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte.
- Tampa, Fla.-based Moffitt Cancer Center welcomed Joyce Oh as its new vice president and chief information officer.
