5 oncologists on the move

Here are five oncologists starting new roles since Nov. 16:

1. Hematologist-oncologist Alexander Chehrazi-Raffle, MD, joined Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope. 
   
   
2. New York City-based Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center appointed Lawrence Schwartz, MD, as chair of the radiology department.
   
   
3. Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian tapped Carlos Becerra, MD, as medical director of cancer research for its Hoag Family Cancer Institute.
   
   
4. Joseph Califano, MD, has been named director of the Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health.
   
   
5. Gilbert, Ariz.-based Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center appointed Ahmed Al-Niaimi, MD, as chief of gynecology oncology.
