These three oncologists joined new practices or received new appointments recently.

1. Eduardo Correia, MD, neurologist and neuro-oncologist, joined Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center's Neuroscience Institute and Cancer Care Center, according to a news release. Dr. Correia specializes in primary brain and spinal cord tumors and metastatic nervous system tumors, and has expertise diagnosing and treating neurologic complications of cancer.
2. Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag Hospital, welcomed Antonio Castaneda, MD, to its gynecologic oncology team, according to a news release. Dr. Castaneda comes from the Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
3. Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City selected Sam Yoon, MD, to lead its newly launched division of surgical oncology. In addition to serving as chief of the new surgical oncology division, Dr. Yoon will also serve as vice chair of surgical oncology research and education in the hospital's surgery department.
