- Gynecologic oncologist Jeannine Villella, DO, has been appointed director of the Northwell Health Cancer Institute Cancer Institute at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
- Dr. Naoto Ueno, PhD, has been appointed director of the Honolulu-based University of Hawai'i Cancer Center.
- Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Cancer is welcoming nine oncology specialists to its affiliate, Huntington Cancer Center in Pasadena, Calif.
- James Andersen, MD, a plastic surgeon specializing in reconstructive microsurgery for cancer patients.
- Ramona Kyaw, MD, a radiation oncologist specializing in gynecological cancer.
- Amy Polverini, MD, medical director of breast surgery at Huntington.
- Tiffany Shaw, MD, regional medical director of supportive care medicine.
- Jeannie Shen, MD, a general surgeon and fellowship-trained breast surgeon.
- Alicia Terando, MD, regional medical director of surgical oncology specializing in breast cancer and melanoma.
- Tina Wang, MD, clinical director and physician specializing in the treatment of breast, liver and lung cancer, with a focus on immunotherapy.
- Ruth Williamson, MD, clinical director of radiation oncology.
- Dr. Yuan Yuan, PhD, director of breast oncology.
