11 oncologists on the move

Here are 11 oncologists starting new roles:

  1. Tarik Hadid, MD, a hematologist and medical oncologist, joined the recently opened Karmanos Cancer Institute-Roseville (Mich.)

  2. William Kelly, DO, was appointed chair of the department of medical oncology at Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University.

  3. Patrick Kenney, MD, was appointed as cancer service line medical director for Greenwich (Conn.) Hospital and regional physician leader for oncology services for Lower Fairfield and Westchester Counties at Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven, Conn.

  4. Fort Myers-based Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute reappointed Dr. Lucio Gordan president and managing physician.

  5. Wilfred Ngwa, PhD, a global oncology researcher, joined the New Brunswick, N.J.-based Rutgers Global Health Institute.

  6. OhioHealth Marion Cancer Center welcomed three oncologists:
    • Dr. Noman Khan, medical hematologist and oncologist 
    • Dr. Eva Mrozek, a cancer physician
    • Michael Siedow, MD, a radiation oncologist

  7. Maureen Murphy, PhD, was named deputy director of the Ellen and Ronald Caplan Cancer Center at Philadelphia-based The Wistar Institute.

  8. Gary Schwartz, MD, was appointed director of the Cleveland-based Case Comprehensive Cancer Center.

  9. Jeremy Larsen, MD, joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America Phoenix, part of Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope, as a hematologic oncologist supporting the expansion of its blood and marrow transplant program.
