Cambridge, Mass.-based Optum Labs has announced the addition of seven charter partners to its research collaboration.
Optum Labs, a partnership between Optum, a technology-enabled health services business, and Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, was created in January 2013 as a center for research and innovation.
The new partners are as follows:
American Medical Group Association, Alexandria, Va.
Boston University School of Public Health
Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown, Pa.
Pfizer, New York City
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y.
Tufts Medical Center, Boston
University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Minneapolis
"These additional charter partners will help Optum Labs accelerate the pace of innovation, paving the way for exciting new research initiatives that can be directly translated to improvements in patient care," said Paul Bleicher, MD, PhD, CEO of Optum Labs, in the news release.
