Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare and Round Rock, Texas-based Dell have joined forces to integrate Agfa's ICIS imaging system with Dell's DRIVE Plus clinical archive platform to offer medical image management on the electronic health record.
"With this collaboration, hospitals and health systems can achieve significant clinical workflow and patient care benefits, as well as operational and cost efficiencies, because all patient documents and images are now integrated and accessible from a single, cloud-based EHR system," said Lenny Reznik, director of enterprise imaging and information solutions of Agfa, in the news release.
