Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kan., is close to completing construction of its women's center, according to a Joplin Globe report.
The $8.2 million renovation will have transformed the third floor of the hospital into a labor and delivery center, increasing the women's services department threefold. The center will have five labor rooms, 13 postpartum rooms, two triage rooms and more.
The floor is expected to open this spring.
