VHA, a national network of non-profit hospitals and organizations based in Irving, Texas, has launched its Center for Applied Healthcare Studies.
The CAHS is a collaborative think tank, comprised of several healthcare professionals, tasked to develop, pilot and evaluate innovative approaches for high-quality and affordable healthcare delivery.
There are two divisions within the CAHS: policy and research and demonstrations. VHA expects to issue several studies and demo projects that will focus on emerging healthcare policies, such as bundled payments and population health management.
