University of Kansas Hospital Opens Inpatient Surgical Facility

The University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City announced the opening of an inpatient surgical facility and the planned opening of two new satellite clinics on the campus.

The University of Kansas Hospital-Indian Creek Campus in Overland Park, Kan., includes seven operating rooms and 19 inpatient beds. The 42,000-square-foot facility will offer orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, general surgery, interventional radiology, urology and pain management.

The hospital also plans to open the Center for Sports Medicine and the Marc A. Asher, MD Comprehensive Spine Center on the new campus July 30. These clinics are extensions of clinics on the main campus.
