Following Hurricane Sandy, Knoxville, Tenn.-based TeamHealth providers traveled to New Jersey to offer emergency medical care to displaced residents.
Matt Brayton, Tim Jones, Linda Rothery and George VanDenburg, part of the Tennessee Disaster Medical Assistant Team, a group of medical and logistical professionals that responds following disasters, were some of the TeamHealth providers to make the trip. They spent 10 days providing needed medical care for storm victims at shelters in New Brunswick, N.J., and Atlantic City, N.J.
