A recent study by Jackson & Cooker found that 77 percent of physicians surveyed disagreed with the statement "The AMA's stance and actions represents my views."
The survey also found 70 percent of physicians disagreed with the American Medical Association's position on healthcare reform, and 72 percent disagreed with the statement "the AMA is effective in lobbying for tort reform."
The online survey was completed by more than 1,600 physicians between Aug. 1 and Aug. 29, 2011.
