Boston Police responded to a shooting at Brigham and Women's Hospital this morning that left one victim seriously injured, according to a Boston Globe report.
One victim, reported to be a male physician, was shot twice and sustained life-threatening injuries, according to the report.
Police say the suspect died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the report.
The shooting occurred on the second floor at the Carl J. and Ruth Shapiro Cardiovascular Center, across the street from the main hospital. Hospital operations have returned to normal, according to the report.
